Perfect Man?

Contributed by LucyLux on Wednesday, 2nd September 2009 @ 04:35:12 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

There’s no such thing as the perfect man,
Which my mother always stated.
A phrase which lied and made me sad
A phrase which I always hated
To me this was the perfect man,
Tall ... Dark hair... Brown eyes
But who would have imagined, this was all made up
All a pack of lies
My doubts grew larger about the perfect man
And his love seemed to dissolve
Like sitting a baby with a jigsaw
He’s puzzle that’s hard to solve
All that was left of the perfect man
Were the memories of love at first sight
But as I grew fond and he backed off
The negativity began to take height
Tears were shed for the perfect man
Enough to replace the ocean
Everything seemed to drift down the drain
Leaving me with nothing but fear and emotion
But who would of thought that the perfect man
Could have a heart of stone
In fact he must’ve been a typical man
Because the perfect man, has never been known.

Heartfelt verse....... I guess that is why we write, we can invent the perfect man upon a page??

Do not give up, there are still good men in our world, they are just rare and hard to find!

Perfect? No there is no such thing........ What would all us women do with a perfect man anyway right?

*smiles*

Hugs

Michelle

.. taste the imperfection as it is

Tears fall perfection or imperfection, the road long and weary. We, always weak begin the road weak, strong though we may grow the pain and the wound never close. Always remebered they remain a lost love the one that may have got away. The road is a struggle, but how intact are you at the end of the road?

Perfext people will never exsist but good wholesome humans are all around and your heart will ache no more!

Yep, you're right about roughly 90% of men. They are just all apes and shallowness personified. However, some of us are trying our best to be perfect. That's all we can do I'm afraid.

a very good poem, great skill with flow, but if this has anything to do with real life, you might want to start getting used to it because its all about the type of men that you are attracted to. Sorry for your loss. Good luck.

To find your perfect match you always have to go through a series of people who are definitely not perfect matches .......how else will you know when the one who is perfect appears ?
Nice write

Steve
