Brandine! Brandine!
before I'd give up you, I'd give up my spleen!
The spleen, like the heart, in blood there resides.
so don't overlook a guy willing to give up his insides.
Hematopoiesis, it would seem
never rhymes with anything, no matter how I might dream.
Your eyes! Your eyes! ...um, hang on a sec
I should compare them to something...ah, what the heck.
they glisten and shine, and are pretty I think.
Though they oft stare disapprovingly when I drink.
I'm making a botch of this, this poem's quite a mess
But I hope you're still around to hear me confess
you'd be crazy to love me, I've no talent, 'twould seem
But you know that at night, it's of you that I dream.
(This has been a bad poetry moment, by some talentless fool)
