when friends fight

a slip of the tongue
is all it takes
for a friend to cry
a heart to break
tempers flare
people swear
tears are shed
and bad things said
you both want peace,
instead of war
you'll get hurt
so why fight for?
even when you have a fight
you'll make up again that night.
and in the end, your still friends.
that what makes you special.

i had a friend as you describe...
this friend would not forgive me so...
to get even, i married her.
