Never again

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

You made me feel less than any woman should, you beat me over and over cause you knew that you could.Who were you to disrespect me,when I was your wife, the one who showed you what love could be.You cursed me and hit me time and time again. Now you want my love back, something thats never happening. Our children watched in terror as they trembled with fear, hoping and praying you wouldn't drink that last beer. How could a man be so heartless and cold, that he would beat his wife, the one he should cherish and hold.this last battle is one you did not win.for I have wiped my tears, and will never be beat again.

I am i kind hearted person who would never even imagine doing such evil, but reading this still makes me feel like an arse just for being a man. It is a very deep write and it screams passion and conviction. It too saddens me and violence against women must stop.

Whilst this saddens me, the writing and language selection is great, and i would read on.

...such a sad write...yet powerful too...your words filled with feeling that only a true writer can do to their readers...this write strikes at the heart...well done...
