So I’m packing up and moving away
Thinking of space but too soon to say
It would be nice up there all alone
Like a crazy episode of the twilight zone
Making a list of reasons both good and bad
Some reasons to leave were on the verge of mad
But is space to far, is it to cold and dark
Maybe I’m the thing it’s wanting; a bright new spark
What about somewhere warm, somewhere new
A secret hide away only known to a select few
Laying in the sun without a care in the world
A book in one hand and in the other a fishing rod is held
But what about jelly fish, sharks and giant squid
That’s a lot of danger for just one little kid
The idea of a place warm and new was becoming less inviting
The more I think about it, it becomes more frightening
Maybe the best place is where I may least expect
Maybe it’s overlooked, maybe its a place I even neglect
Looking at all my friends with their concentrating faces
Although I don’t like to think about it maybe the best place is....
No I can’t say it the thought makes me sick
Out of space and a secret beach this is my best pick!
Oh dear, my thoughts are against me, I am a fool
Out of all those places I’d rather be here at school
