A Choice I Have To Make

What’s this choice I have to make?
A precious life I have to take.
As strange as it may sound and be,
It’s like I’m killing you and me.
A little life that we have made
Will never see the light of day.
A little dream that’s born inside,
A little bit of you and I.
Something that has happened twice,
Now I have to pay the price.
And even thought it’s a mistake,
It’s just a choice I have to make.
It haunts me every day and night
To think that I’ve stopped someone’s life;
But that life would be very wrong
If I had let that life go on.

I do know how you feel, I myself have had to face that choice, and everyday it haunts me as well. I do feel your pain. |
