Is there any place in this world
Where my failures don't really matter
Is there any place inside your heart
Where my soul can find comfort and retreat
Is there any place inside my mind
Where I can accept that I've lost this time
Why did time choose me to find this
Now that I've become blind in seeing you
Why did time choose me to let go
Now that I've found a place to grow
Why did time choose me to miss you
Now that your voice left me to face mine
Can you forgive me for thinking
That you never wanted more than this
Can you forgive me for pretending
That your words weren't really for me
Can you forgive me for expecting
That you would leave me here alone
Will you remember what made every sky blue
I don't want to lose what we have
Will you remember how you made me fine again
I don't want to forget your smile
Will you remember my heart in you beautiful mind
I don't want to become what I used to fear

i liked your poem it made me think
it seems like you put a lot of thought into it and i think in time your confusion will leave you and your thoughts will be clear
