Shattered and Risen

Topic: StoryPoetry

Cut and bleeding,
Captive and torn,
Was a girl with infinite pain,
There was this girl who cried acidic rain.
Hidden away from sanity and the human race.
She closed her eyes at the sight of his face.
Remembers his presence,
Remembers his stench,
Remembers his darkness,
Remember his soullessness.
Compelled and Aghast moments,
Poison her to wonder why,
She is a captive of this devil,
Whose gaping heart cries black,
Black and as deep as the universe,
Which has no indefinite end.

She thought, I’ll never feel safe,
And she’s right she’s riven.
She thought I would accept death,
And She would She’s shriven.

Face bleeding,
Nails screeching the ground,
Screaming loudly,
But no helps around,
There’s Doubt in her faith,
Demurring in her eyes,
There’s blood on her face,
Truth in her lies.
A darkened room,
Without a drip of light,
Reminds her of this man,
That frightens fright.

She thought, I’ll never feel safe,
And she’s right she’s riven.
She thought I would accept death,
And she would she’s Shriven.

Tired and bound,
Trying to speak,
But can’t utter a sound,
Crawling around the room,
Asking the wall for help,
Stammering, Whimpering,
Trying to yelp,
Is a girl,
With no source of humanity,
She’s talking to herself,
Trying to keep her sanity,
Trying to think of a plus,
But can’t see,
And remembers to hush,
Her Words She couldn’t speak,
For she would be hurt.
She prayed for help
As the clock struck three,
Angels cried from heaven,
And god set her free.

She thought, I’ll never feel safe,
And she’s right she’s riven.
She thought I would accept death,
And she would she’s Shriven.

Back with her pillar of support,
And her sunset between the green hills,
She opens her eyes,
And the sunlight’s revealed.
Family attempts to penetrate her mind,
That’s made of crushed up wax,
Trying to understand her pain,
Trying to get the facts,
But they will never know her pain,
Her struggle,
Her mindset at that moment,
That could destroy gravity,
And any other supposedly unstoppable force.
Only time will tell,
If her soul embarks,
If and when it does,
I would follow it into the dark.

She’ll remember him,
Forever stuck in her vision.
In the end, He’ll fall to the unknown,
While, her soul is complete and risen.
