If people could see what this
loneliness does to me
understand or judge
would they choose?
The girl next door, the friend
but deep within no-one looks
at me.
A quiet girl,
a shy girl
the laughter fades
as the loneliness takes hold.
My barren life
locked up, put away
A smile that fades
as this loneliness smothers
and strangles me/
Bbt no-one sees this...
Aching loneliness
