LoveRemembered

I remember the day
when you woke me
spoke me things that bought me sunshine
even if for only a little while
and in time, I
transfixed your shell with things that glisten
you talked some and I listened
ruled by the moon, we just walked the tides sideways
I'm sorry
it was never proper done
you and I were always pearls
that weren't quite ready to blossom
I always ask myself
if I'm allowed to miss you
is night stark naked and boring
where you wander too?
