AWAY FROM YOU

I wake....this place origins pain,
White lines stream by quickly
as do a memory of a wise man saying...
"don't let you heart lead", he say
whilst the moonlight colours sorrow
as the car drifts to an unkwown tomorrow.
Wishes of you are made on a star
as it dances across the sky
entertaining like a broadway performer,
yet no applause from this moppy traveler.
The radio beat fades gently
as the moon-lit view colours tranquility
reviving sweet memories you left for me.
So I gaze up at the stars
and my eyes become oblivious
to flashing lights from passing cars,
a feeling so rare it could have originated from mars.
My mind now drifts away
as illusions of you are set into play,
reminicing of dreams through this window,
My heart at rest covered by this neon glow.
I lay steady theiving on the abstances in my present reality,
where the universe bows and acknowledges me,
where every kiss isn't far apart
where our love knows no tiredsome new start.
Sunrise awakes happy dreamers,
yet day dreamers rebel agaings't it's portal to reality,
fighting a hopeless crusade,
procrastinating and hiding in the shade.
So i finally awaken as time slips into the future,
and present time becomes erevavent,
the end to corny dreams of being president.
"I love you", is the last words said,
"I love you to", a reply echos from a distant dream,
I fail to find a happy ending
for im lost in the sight of my soul fleeing.
Away from you this love grows fient;
my tears run down memories of me and you
like raindrops washing everlasting paint,
leaving a masterpiece in a blurred distant blue.

Such wonderful imagery made this a compelling read from start to finish
Hard to pick a favourite line because that wouldn't do justice to the rest which bound it all together!!
