The heart tis a complex creature,
men are born, die ignorant of its feature;
What seems evident is often contradiction,
Where lies truth, where begins fiction;
Navigate its channels, try its tide,
Ebb and flow, its currents seldom confide;
Mystery shrouds like fog, tis the hearts master,
Look through the mist in vain, pursue faster;
Circle the world, bridge the seas, cry in twilight,
Lovers repeat the eternal prayer tonight;
Protect the seekers, searchers, who the heart would tame,
Tis fraught with riches, replete with danger but worth the game

Bravo poet! I am impressed. There is so much wisdom in this. I'm not
sure when I've read a more sagely piece. Yes, the heart is definitely
complex, but you've shed a tiny crease of light on it for us.
AMAZING last line!!

I'm not usually a fan of rhyming poems nowadays but this was exceptional. Creative language with carefully considered fluency. Great writing.
