Naturally

Contributed by ChenoaShiningwater on Tuesday, 25th August 2009 @ 10:49:10 PM in AEST
Topic: NaturePoetry

Wandering through the wildflowers,
with silent breath of memories
I note the dew on every blossom,
and cast my sighs into the breeze
The distant ocean seems to call me,
as her rolling waves are heard
Oh how I wish for feathered wings,
to fly freely with the birds
Beneath my naked feet,
but for the jewellery on my toes
I can feel the beautiful earth ,
from where her smiles grow

Shadows of the afternoon,
come play upon my skin
To touch upon the places,
where innocence has been

Rising from the very depths,
of my collective soul
Comes a feeling of tranquility,
new hope to make me whole
With fabricated skin now gone,
I move among the trees
Boundless in my nakedness,
dressed only of the breeze
Dark braids have now fallen,
to caress my shoulders bare
My body but a whisper,
as it wanders without care

~~my mountain home,where I used to live~

"The distant ocean seems to call me,

I seem to have this dream when the ocean calls me... Great imagery, Chenoa.
Keep them coming...

Jenni

Can't help but have that 'feel-good' feeling whilst reading this. Well written.
