The moon hides surreptitiously in the sky.
The clouds shrouds all hope of it ever being seen.
Call for it, cry for it, there's no reply,
Even with a halcyon sky, the vision is far from clean.
Don't be fooled, don't be pulled into the hole of despair.
For what you see is never what's reality!
What you consider love becomes the source of your tears.
Oh! ?The eagle knows best, he escapes the looming brutality.
Still your face shows hope, unable to accept.
The impending truth is not the discovery of something new;
It is merely the return to the line you've myopically crept.
In your hand is not another, but your disappointment freshly brewed.
So the shadow at the end of the hall is no longer hidden,
But the clandestine is not forgotten or forgiven.

I love it just the way it is. It seems if we try to follow the rules of poetry writing something gets lost inside, least to me it does.
I say rip the clothes off and be a rebel pen on kiss the rules goodbye! This is a delight to read!
Hugs
