From a broken heart to the vanquished soul, no one said I could lose control.
A fire that burns not to be tamed, extinguished in lust and a moment of weakness.
You say to so many that you love this man, but for reasons unknown you refuse to give him a chance.
A commitment made a bond meant to be unbroken, if only you stayed to squelch the pain inside.
A voice unheard blocked by the now, for what was then is forever there yet you don't know how,
How to love to sacrifice yourself, only for me to crawl my way through hell.
Faith, trust, emotional juggling, releasing my anger to indulge these feelings.
If only for you if only to love, if only my heart could be as cold as yours.
I gave too much to get too little, the reasons to me are still riddled.
I don't understand and I never will, the need in your heart, the need to kill.
You say to hurt others is the last thing you want, but to my ears all I hear is a taunt.
So indecisive but I believe you have chosen, the road for me is left scarred and broken.
I want you to be happy in the end, whether it be with me or a so called friend.
As long as you smile I can endure the pain, though this time I may never see you again.
