Married Life

Contributed by ChenoaShiningwater on Saturday, 22nd August 2009 @ 06:46:25 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

He was among the last to accidentally on purpose wed
His friends were almost surprised and one of them had said
"I've heard accurate rumours while alone in a crowd
you had an authentic reproduction of shotgun wedding vows"
"I know you're an adult male and your wife is awfully pretty,
but is her being a little pregnant a good reason to wed at fifty"

He took affirmative action and tried acting naturally
Afterall he wasn't so bad for a well built aging yuppie
He had balding hair, wore baggy tights,he was a clever fool
He studied business ethics while he was at home school
It wasn't a definate maybe,he sure was no dimwit
He was the genuine imitation with a football scholarship

The friends they asked about his bride, was there wedded bliss
He said she was mildly psychotic, but she was icy hot to kiss
She suffered from insomniac dreams and loved with eyes wide shut
And while practicing safe sex,she says "go ahead, back up"
She wears pink lace up loafers and long sleeve t-shirts with loose tights
His love's the perfect screw-up and he thinks her awfully nice

I liked this, very interesting use of oxymorons and some good imagery.
