Pulling back the curtain and unfolding a brand new day,
peering out the window, I see a beautiful pink sunrise display.
A magical beginning of a newborn day full of wonder,
suddenly, my daughter awakens and has the world to discover.
Her smile contagiously casts a spell on my heart;
her giggles are an orchestra of muscial art.
Subtly my son hugs me from behind;
his love keeps all my worries from finding my mind.
I've have only been up for an hour,
and a happiness pours from my soul empowered.
Upbeat emotions overwhelm my woes;
it's as if someone invisible is tickling my toes.
