This Day I woke up, many things on my mind,
Worrisome thoughts about my family, money, Cuddles who is my most wonderful cat who is lost and I cannot find.

This Day should not be full of worries of any kind.
There are so many of life's mysteries I cannot control.
So many blessings in my life that shine.

This Day I will be determined to keep a watchful eye on my God, my Lord.
He is the One who turned water into wine.

This Day I have much beauty to see, in nature and in one's soul.
Never to be critical of This Day, there is no time.

This Day I will have joy in my heart, love in my soul for all things,
For I am His branch and He is the vine.

This Day I will not limit God, my Lord, in any way.
He, after all has given me This Day to be with Him, together we dine.

This Day will be everyday for the rest of my life,
With confidence and power that comes from only Him which binds.

This Day I give praise and thankfulness to God, my Lord, for I awoke.
Always to see God, my Lord in His word, never to be blind.
