My Love
Follow the path down a long and winding road
Where it leads I’m bond to be cold
Alone and waiting, a fate undecided A lone message delivered a headless horseman riding,
Sky a darken blue
A chill in the air as the rider comes into view
Point of the sword aimed at me
Off with my head another soul freed,
Frozen within time feeling no fear
Falls a single emotionless tear For my time has come
Finally the chance to be with the one I love,
She will never stray
I’m at her beck and call
She whispers my name
A lifeless body falls
I hear a voice She says come to me Exhale a final breath My loves’ embrace, the acceptance of death.
