yes, this write is very awed. what isn't said, is what they need, what they say, isn't at all what they mean. How often I've been put in that situation of those who will say that exact thing and really need your help, often protecting the one who did this. A sad but reality write of many who go thru this, and have so... can relate very well.......

| oh my god im choking on my tears this was just so.... i cant say beautiful as in like love poetry but it was beautiful in a really sad tear-jerker sort of way if u get what i mean. as soon as i read the first line by the end i knew i would cry. |

| How can something so beautiful be born from something so horrific? Totally terrifying, very powerful and hopefully will reach one person that will refuse to let this happen to a child in need out of sheer apathy or fear of reprisal to themselves. |

| Firstly, you wrote well. But I hope that this is not happening round you... People sometimes will act strong. What is said may not bethe truth... But we cant blame them... Can others really help when we tell them the truth? We all try to solve our own problems... If someone really wanna help, they should find the answers themselves if we want them to. the school, they ask if you want a councelor
they say that they can help
but they never really hear you saying, pleading, screaming "help me" do they

| I completely feel this poem. It's as if I'm in it, sounds like me, the kid saying help me. It's like you want to ask, but you cant tell anyone anything. I mean my parents dont physically attack me, well not often... but mental attacks are made everyday and I'm tempted to slit the wrists because of the welts on my brain...sorry. I feel this poem as if I'm that kid wanting to say help me, but jsut not asking. |

| That was very sad. I really liked it though. I have witnessed a few who were abused. It's really sad. There are many different ways of abuse. It's just plain old cold no matter what. It can be so hard to voice the help one needs, especially when one is abused (and they are usually threatened with more if they speak out regarding the abuse). Society needs to learn how to listen better, not with only their ears but with their eyes and hearts as well. Profound write.

I've avoided the poems with most reads simply because of the fact that they had so many. I see now that the majority of poets did know a good poem when they saw it. This brought tears to my heart. It was truly an amazing piece.

I found this very upsetting and painful to read, NOT because I have had any experience of it but how it was written ... Excellent write

Your poem does speak volumns... I work at a court house and unfortunately, not only there but in the media... we hear about this type of crime ALL THE TIME. It's sad to know there are helpless children too afraid to answer the most important question of there lives with honesty.
