I stare up at the heavens as they begin to downpour;
everyone around me takes shelter from the rain.
I stand merrily in the dripping drops descending with thunder's roar;
Purifying rain cleanses my pains away and pours them down the drain.
Feeling the drops on my skin invigorates me,
reborn in mind, body and soul,
my skin glistens with newborn glee;
interacting with the rain brings peace to my soul.

I really like the imagery in this one. You put the reader there with you. Nicely done.
Thank you,

Totally agree, I can't understand why people flee from the rain like they're allergic to it.

Nice emotive piece. Yes, something good can be felt by rain.
