As we sputter and fade
can it all drift away
or so easy forgotten
what once was life's way
i can't lose you now
or ever again
it's all in our hands
as it always has been.
See can we not
it was just meant to be
together alone
will our souls tend to key.
As i always have, so shall
it always be true
we belong with each other
til the world life renew.
