Residuals of desire primordial,
Erect this temporal memorial.
No longer flesh and blood,
Only memory of insatiable flood.
Seeking only simplicity,
Lost in duplicitous complicity.
Explore labyrinths of my mind,
Traverse forests of yesterday I find.
Confront my ethereal ghosts,
Netherworld’s perfect hosts.
Haunting melody with lyric,
For sensual dance pyrrhic.
Pied piper of gray twilight,
Where her demons suppress the light.
Seductress casts her net,
As she dances her pirouette.
Almost consumed is my soul,
But, the cross rises on Heaven’s knoll.
God sends torrents of righteous rain,
To wash away her false quatrain.
