Set Me Free

Contributed by Shuberth on Monday, 10th August 2009 @ 02:10:34 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

The pain inside me I can’t stand
Why they ignore me now I understand,
As tears flow through my eyes and hit the floor
The happiness inside me is no more.

The dreams inside me are all gone
This Sorrow in my life is born.
I can’t run, I see no another way
All I know is this pain will forever stay.

You stare at me you can hear me cry
You know what I feel and that I want to die
I love you Lord, but look at me
Look upon my life, Don’t you have some pity ?

Dear God is it too much to ask ?
If I begged you will you complete this task ?
Bring my life to an end
With no more hope in a form of a fake friend.

As I pray right now
Please answers my prayer somehow
But don’t take too long
Let me go to the place where I belong.

Beautiful piece full of emotion. I feel sorrow in each line. Excellent flow as well. I hope happiness comes back in your life. I am feeling very down today as well. Again great piece of writing.
