We creep
We crawl
Through the tunnels
Through the labyrinth
Of empty blackness
Every corner
Every turn
Does our enemy grow closer
Right past the opening of light
Does our enemy decive us
Though deciving it may be
It is the only thing that holds the key
To our survival
We know it bites
We know it kills
We know but still
We must go on
Up ahead is the door
We are drawn in awe
Of the light among the darkness
Our eyes become wide
As the fuzzy world becomes clear
And there we see it
Very close
Very near
The key that which it holds
Awakens the beast within our bodies
We surround the thing
And our minds become one
Now all that's left to do
Is reach out and grab it
Death
Only one of us
Nearly had it
