One Night of Shattered Dreams

Darkness descends
I've dug myself a hole
I can't climb out of
my hands keep slipping
I sink further and further

Into the hole
Thinking I will never
get out
I call out to you
crying my sorrows

My cries fall on deaf ears
My stomach aches
My head pounds in pain
My vision blurs
and my heart feels torn

one night, one night
is all it took
where all my dreams and hopes
disappeared
all those years
down the drain
because of just one night
"I think I'll go kill myself now"
I'm sorry good-bye
I'll miss you

if a single teenage and up can say they have never felt like this they are full of it...

beautiful version of the drama that comes with a night like that i like you depictions
