The reality of the world is paper-thin;
superficial smiles signify shallow intentions.
The depth of many human souls is measured by an obliging grin.
Nothing meaningful seems to keep humanity's attention.
I can see right through the translucent torsos tainted with toxic technology.
Cookie-cut conformity created by corrupted computers,
Humans living in a virtual reality to escape humanity,
time is running out for worn-down reality.

Despite technology being a big part of my world I can see where you are coming from and agree with that.
I think that for all its usefulness, we often use it for the wrong purpose, maybe that's the saddest part
