Light shines through
as if being cut from one.
Morning dew rests, but does not settle.
Awaking near, weary children rush.
Laughing playfully with minor worries.
Leafs fall silently.
Pulling from among the slender trees.
Shaking; he fights to rise from his rest,
pushing from which he lays his head.
Ringing with Sunday bells
eye lashes sway with each toll.
Soon all will be still, resting.
to begin again.
