Fear is but...

...a child

in need of protection

turning to its host with such intense feeling
that you might be forewarned of impending danger
And
serve to find refuge for your soul

Fight or flight!

adrenaline rush
power beyond normal
that you may survive your plight

Fear is but...

...a child

in need of protection…

alerting you
the parent host
of dangers unforeseen…
moving you to action

natural chemicals serve to aid
that free you may be
no longer afraid

Fear is but...

...a child

in need of protection
But! with your understanding

Fear shall be seen as both Allie and Friend

no longer emotionally involved in your fear
but as a quite observer
fear shall serve but as...
instinct
companion and...
...friend
