Standing idly waiting for happy colors,
I exist in a limbo of lifeless gloom.
Ghostly white bleaches my soul's cover;
The bright white illuminate's the insanity of the room.
Colors have become extinct;
for me the canvas is lifeless and dead.

Excellent metaphor. you've described this emotion
exceptionally. I especially loved the line,
"Colors have become extinct;"
Flawless!

Ghostly white bleaches my soul's cover
That line it too cool.
I like this poem. Short yet still conveys that feeling very well.
Take care,
