You claim the truth
but do you really know?
My soul lights up
(bare flame in the room)
Your darkness no friend of mine
I will dream for you
Beautiful but not ravishing
Inclined to be poetic
But did you know, dear one
I am poetry in motion?
Or were you blinded by my light
the pull of my gravity?
It is your logic I defy!
The world bends for me
Just another snapshot to you
My soul exists in more than a photograph
I am the rain, the sunlight
Your blood, and reflection
I am what you see when you hate yourself
but I am also what you want to be
Cradle my words like invisible hands to hold
run your tongue over them
ingrain them in your mind
Forever one everlasting

Love this line;
Cradle my words like invisible hands to hold
run your tongue over them |

I be likin' these complex complexities...especialy these lines:
I am what you see when you hate yourself
but I am also what you want to be
So very intriguing. |
