Precious Bump so warm and safe
You grow inside of me
Protect you I will do
Till all the world you see..
Precious Bump I feel you move
A gentle touch and kick
The flutter of you turning
At first so slow then quick
Precious Bump my voice you hear
And daddy's voice also
We love you oh so dearly
Of that im sure you know...
Precious Bump I wait till when
I hold you in my arms
Forever i'll protect you
From any hurt or harm...xxxx

There was probably so much more to write after the birth too, that first moment of seeing a tiny face you had nurtured for so long
Maybe that is another poem !!

I love this poem! It brings me back to when I felt my son move for the first time. It felt magical. In fact, the feeling is so distinct I can feel it now. Great write.
