Anger accumlates in your reddening face with a volcanic glow;
it's as if your fury has changed you into someone I don't know.
Everything I say you take the wrong way;
all I want is a peaceful, happy day.
Your anger clouds your eyes with a stormy stare;
I escape outside for a breath of fresh air.
Night casts a shadow of sorrow on already stormy day;
Angry words are said before we go to bed and play.
A swirling tornado swoops you away from me;
powerless, I chase the cyclone and plea.
I can barely moved against the twister's force;
if only I could find this stormy anger's source.
I hear you whimpering weakly inside;
you finally open up what you used to hide.
A calming stillness fills the night;
I see a miraculous sight.
It's you with a smiling face;
the anger is gone without a trace.
The storm washed away all the anger;
love is it's best when in danger,

I really like that title.
I like the poem and the story within. Sure wish all love stories worked out that way.
take care,
Tim |
