Stripper Love

Contributed by daylynn_van_wyk on Wednesday, 29th July 2009 @ 02:35:23 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

The night club lights dance,
flickering upon her delicate skin,
as she poses in a pure seductive stance,
My mind looses composure within this hypnotic trance.

A fallen angel from an origin unkwown,
with eyes more wondrous than glowing stars,
A beauty so rare my heart journey'd eons.

She has Medusa's stare,
intrapping me in this momentary bliss,
and every fantasy now ends with her magical kiss.

She's Aphrodite's weapon against a loveless heart,
I walk down a dangerous road,
yet im un-able to choose my desired path.

Her body moves in slow motion as 'velvet rope' plays,
I struggle to avoid addiction,
to escape a rehab of endless days.

Her soft lips brush across my neck,
as her whispers enter love sick ears,
A victim to her spell,
lost in infactuation, a magical place appears.

Cupid's arrow has me paralysed,
I'm un-able to dodge these seductive tides,
My ship wrecked heart now wonders,
exploring an infinite ocean where her love resides.

I am now lost in the currents of stripper love,
with no desire to leave this magical place,
fueled by the magic of dead presidents,
my love rockets into immortal space.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
