Deliver me now to a world where there’s none
Of these battles and wars of men with the gun.
Take me away to a place that is me
And live in a world not as I, but as we.
A world for my son and my daughters to be
Safe in the knowledge that old age they will see.
Deliver me now to a world that is fun
And children play safe all day in the sun
Not needing to fear the evil of age
That can only be found in the hate and the rage
Of men and of women whose best years are gone
With belief it is they who should say how we’re run
Go back to your lives you hawks with your wars
You don’t represent me with your secrets and laws
Don’t go through this world like its only a game
For this evil you do, I say Not In My Name!
