Friendship: It's a Breeze

On lazy days you are sleeping,
As I still carress your hair,
The rewards now we are reaping,
I embrace you with my air.
But my direction must alter,
There are distant sails to fill,
For a while there I did falter,
I have no more time to kill.
Ol' Blue Eyes had a name for me,
He called me his fickle friend,
Even the ignorant can see,
Good things must come to an end.
You were a very gracious host,
No more breeze to taunt your hair,
Because when you need me the most,
You know that I won't be there.
