Hallo! I was working on perusing some of your entries, but felt I should start with some lesser-read items. When posting in the distant past (I'm back after a years-long absence), I noticed some poems would get lots of reads and comments, while others--of equal merit, I thought--would hardly be read at all.
Anyway, I really like your short-form approach, because it puts the focus on contrasts in everyday concepts. 'Tis a fine line 'twixt pleasure and pain, and your lines allow ample contemplation of that fact. Your use of the word "renowned" is interesting, recalling the historical experience of human sensuality.
Be assured, I will continue reading. Thank you for posting, -Kris- |
