i hate it when i say goodbye
but i love the way it makes you hold me tight
if i could, i would stay with you all night
and make sure the loneliness bug doesnt bite
hair in your face but i still kissed your lips
and from your reaction, i can see you didnt expect it
but then you kissed me back showing it was worth the risk
and now i wait everyday to relive it
the smile on your face when i say hi
is almost enough to cancel out the frown at goodbye
but cheer up because im yours and you are mine
and i promise, once again, i will make you feel divine
the moments away kill me also
but i love the texts and messages more than i show
theres no need for me to write this cause you already know
but you arent here right now so I'll write it so i dont blow
waiting for the next time we meet again
and smiling at the fact that you are my girlfriend
so all i want to do is make you feel destined
and like you found that amazing something
and i love you more than i can even chart
whether we are together or broken apart
there are no endings with you, only each new start
cause you infested my mind, body and heart.
you make me better than i ever was
and seem to love me just because
what you see in me, ill never know
but i love it more than i could ever show
