Broken heart

Contributed by bubkin on Sunday, 26th July 2009 @ 11:48:07 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I thought he was great that , that he was the one.
Now looking back , I think “what have I done”

I put my heart on hold for a man that wasn’t even there
I thought life without him was something I just cant bare

He broke my heart and let me down
When I look in the mirror I can only frown

I feel pathetic , I feel so low
If he comes back I’ll tell him where to go

I want to be happy I want my heart back
All the confidence I had is now something I lack

All those tears I shed were over a stupid boy
He treated me like nothing , like a useless toy

I must move on I’m better than him
But in my heart i feel like I’ve lost a limb

Defiance! Tribulations are but puddles on the pavement of life. We step over them. They evaporate into oblivion.

While the memory of him evaporates, you shall stride on into happiness.

There. I've squeezed all the juice out of that metaphor. So I shall conclude by saying:

GOOD POEM
