Darkness upon me

A shadow has fallen across my soul
without you near i just don't feel whole

all the pain and hurt that i hold in my heart
grows more and more every day we are apart

you were always there when i needed to be caught
i knew you were the one , even when we fought

Every day i'm haunted by what could of been
When i close my eyes its of you i dream

I keep you close to me every day
My love for you will never go away

I know you are safe now but its so unfair
A life without you , I just cant bare

I will join you soon to walk hand in hand
All we leave behind are footprints in the sand
