We did this

Contributed by 1sara101 on Friday, 24th July 2009 @ 01:20:50 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

We broke him down
And it’s so sad
These tears I cry
Always last
More than a day
And more than a week
But we tore him apart
Now I can’t speak
How could we do this to man so sweet
They’re all filled with hate
And they dumped it on him
But the man in the mirror didn’t let them win
He stood still and kept his feelings in
He was more than a performer,
He was more than a face
He was human, who didn’t care about race
They found the smallest thing to make him cry
But why must they have such a cold heart
You couldn’t see, how hard it was
For the man who’s soul broke, because of us
We did this to him, we ripped his heart
But still his love never stopped
Our hearts are racing
Wondering how could this man full of love leave this unpleasant ground
He had the world, and the world had him
But the media just wouldn’t let him in
They wanted him to feel the pain
But his true fans kept that away
We love you Michael, we want you to stay
For you we will stand tall and proud
Because you once stood on this unfaithful ground
I promise you right here, right now
To love you forever, and forever doesn’t end
I see now and hope others do too
What you were made of
You were made of pure love
And a soul so kind
How could we not see your lonely heart
How could we be so mean and so rude
To a man who only wanted the best for you
Look at the sky, because he’s there
Smile so bright to light the day
Michael loves you, and that’s all I have to say
“I love you Michael, I’ll always love you”
