I will give it my all
to break you free
from this prison we call life

Let them take me instead
take my beauty
take my words

So you had a pill or two
I'm just as guilty as you
I will speak out to save you

because you saved me
once upon a time ago

A beautiful expression of self-sacrifice in wanting to trade places with someone you love. I hope you and he are able to break the chains of addiction or anything else that is keeping you from being truly free in life.
