selfstruggles

She's hounding me like Paul Revere
Revealing every enemy,
Every sin kept in secrecy
So sinister I cannot bear to speak
My knees are buckling, Im beginning to feel weak.
This is something I cannot fathom,
I can't unscramble..the web of lies I've become entangled in.
I look at Her wishing I could
"Turn back the hands of time."
Wishing She still had that same sparkle in Her eyes.
Now that spark that used to ignite warmth & delight in each soul has turned cold.
Hidden behind this mask is where I've stayed.
This mirage of visages enabling me access to different roles to be played.
But I can't disguise this pain that
Tears Me, Tears Her, Tears Us
Apart inside.
She stands over me,
As I am bound by lies,
And for a moment I see the being we used to be.
The minute soon passes and & I'm lying six feet deep
For She has killed me..killed Her...killed us
So who was She?
Simply an Angel who fell from grace
Wandering through this world in search of a better place.
