beguile the sentinel
with thine eye
a gossamer gaze
transfix
refine
yet, do not speak
& take your time
this heart
has slept for days
& days. . .
& days. . .

Beautifully elegant and short - many of the pieces you've done that effect me most have that punch to them.
This poem has the hope of a real and enduring love - there is no hurry, there is time enough and you have learnt to be patient - so much so that the subtle things are not overlooked.
Great write
