The Village of Drinkmore
The houses are all different colours
To guide them home at night
After they‘d been drinking
They were not a pretty sight
As they staggered from side to side
A heavy session they’d, had
The songs were all atrocious
The singing just as bad
The men were really staggered
To see their wives all smiles
It’s the first time for ages
They’d been, out on the tiles
While the wives were all out drinking
The colours they did change
They got them from the paint shop
They covered every range
Now their wives to get their own back
Changed them all to grey
Now the problem really is
Their men are all astray.

Nice one, Geordie! I've been to tobermory - is there anything else to do there apart from
drink? Brings back memories of some
bygone ''extra curricular'' sessions.
