To screw up in the beginning
Just for a moments happiness?
Having a bad day?
Whip it out
Punish yourself
Want to relax?
Want to have some fun?
Breathe it in
Swallow it down
Heads up north! Take a swig
Feeling better now?
Are you having fun?
Do you ever feel guilty?
Lies
It's all false
Where'd the true happiness go?
Days, hours, minutes, seconds
By the time we reach what we really want
Do the scars and the drugs honestly amount
To anything?
I am starting to think
Maybe they don't...

I like how you didn't just plain out say it. Instead you describe it. Such as, "Breathe it in." or, "Take a swig." I also like how you separated "Do you ever feel guilty?" I think it gives the words more of an impact.
