Fading Cycle

Contributed by Daylynn_Van_Wyk on Friday, 17th July 2009 @ 01:52:58 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

I see heaven at night,
watching earth through this windows,
A beautiful picture,
yet it makes me wonder tho...

I wonder...
Are there evils to tiny to see?
Is this beauty a facade illuding me?

Does this green, mask erupting flames?
and these oceans...a place for lost souls,
much like mine in the grips lonelyness holds

A beautiful blue on this canvas,
away from mysterious troubles of this green plain,
I stare closer...glaring into the eyes of an alienated pain

Gazing upon, my soul calms...
Magic dust begins to sparkle,
the stars of a foriegn universe in my palms,
mother nature smiles with the world close in loving arms

Green and blue colours harmonise my soul,
green, the source to white mothers of the sky,
a re-birth to blue as white wings grow to heavy to fly

Angel wings of love fall into the depts of blue,
each wing a fading memory,
of a rare beauty we fail to pursue

I gaze endlessly at this beautiful picture,
for it's a portal to a mystical place,
Is this heaven? or natures true face

I now regain a lost smile of appretiation,
seeing an earth rejuvinated through the distance of day,
I'm just a martian...
an admirer gazing at a past eons away.

nice twist of an ending. . .
I especially like the lines

Angel wings of love fall into the depths of blue
each wing a fading memory,
of a rare beauty we fail to pursue

nice job :) elle
