Time lead forward into a frozen stare,
a purple rose blossomed,
and a smile broke from a nightmare
Aphrodite's smile seen in plain sight,
an angel born from endless dreams,
my fists unclenched to weak to fight,
and my rigid heart with blind eyes teams
You picked the rose up from the ground,
gave it a home within your hair,
my heart lost it's sound,
and my composure fired reality a flare
Helplessly sealed within this clumbsy rock,
my mind drifted into your magical smile,
lost shyness took to the stand,
and my cool fell at this epic trail
I've lost my cool,
the essense which maintained composure,
my cool now abandoned by a love sick fool,
and without armor emerges a crazed soldier
This purple rose has me defenseless,
Surfacing feelings kept behind bulletproof,
You now twist and twirl within your beautiful purple dresses,
my soul now warms unhindged by worldly stresses
Purple roses now rain from purple skies,
and with you...in this romantic cliche',
we lay upon a field of purple roses,
in a place where only bliss imposses.
