Isolation I Crave,
Too be all alone,
Without you I am brave,
My self-worth is safe,
Everone around me,
Indulged in imagination,
But me, I sit silently,
I fear humiliation,
This sets me apart,
Critism darts,
I choose to be invisible,
Evasive from things emtional,
Isolation I crave.

Had a lovely time in your part of the world Singapore, KL,Penang.
Was on my own a lot as a young RAF pilot till demobbed in 1948.
Like you I was introspective and didn't seek company.
But all that changed when I got back to the UK. I read a lot. got more self confidence socially. Had a steady girl friend for three years. She brought me out of myself.
It may not work for you but why not give it a try now and then. What have you got to lose? |
