MAN ON THE MOON

A light beams upon an empty stage,
The sounds of screaming fans fade,
unwritten history stolen from a torn page,
as the burnt out melody of legend played
Stars sparkle upon a vacant stage,
tiny tremors vibrate through the floor,
victory creeps out through a flashing cage,
igniting the source to a rhythm so pure
The Sun shines upon an empty stage,
the ground hums with deep bass,
a glove transends into memoirs of a sage,
foot prints are heard, movements our souls trace
A white dwarf illuminates a vacant stage,
loud whispers consume with great anticipation,
tale and stories escape with blissful rage, `
a beat builds into the sounds of recreation
A supernova explodes above an empty stage,
the screams of joy levitates,
history of a legend floods every page,
a perfect harmony a song creates
A moon rests above a vacant stage,
a soul stands on the moon gazing down,
an eternal legacy left in the confinds of talk,
but his footprints live forever, the canvas to the moon walk.

This is an awesome poem..I am not sure I am interpreting it right but I imagine an empty stage in London.. that was to be Micheal Jackson's first concert... This is the mental picture I got from this..
Thank you for sharing it...and welcome to YPDC..
